In March 2018 I created 16 original MARC records for locally-made Digital Collections for the purposes of increasing discoverability in the University of Toronto Libraries catalogue. These collection level records required 041, 245, 260, 300, 5XX, 65X and 856 fields to be developed manually, while the LDR and 0XX fields were automatically generated. For this project I required strong knowledge of MARC formatting and RDA, as well as a familiarity with each collection in order to develop subject headings.
